It's a Boy!

I'm doing well after the birth of kidney stone #19, born one week ago. Everything is passed now. Hopfully this is the last addition to the Stone Family because I have had my kidney tubes tied. No more calcium deposits in this house.

Happy Father's Day Jim!

Since it was Jim's day off today we decided to celebrate Father's Day a little early. Chellee came over with the girls and Peter came over after he got off work. Since Jim is such a great Dad to all the kids and grandkids I got him a new BBQ grill so that he can make us lots more tasty foods. Brian got him a new cooking set with all the utensils he needs and Brye and Abbi got him a grill cover to protect his new present from the weather. Jim made great steaks for dinner and enjoyed his company. Happy Father's Day!!

This isn't Grandma's House

I had to go to work up by where Chellee lives so I stopped by to see my grandchildren. Abbi took her first steps today and Brye and I caught our first toad together. His name was Wally and he has lots of warts. I told her that Wally said "hi" and she said "no Grandma, he says 'croak croak." Uh, what was I thinking. We put him down and gave him a fly and we went in the house. Brye got cranky so my visit was cut short and I was off to work.

Singing in the rain!

We finally got some much needed rain today. My grandchildren were over so we took umbrellas out to feed the animals in the rain. When we got out to the gineapig the rain really started to come down so we finished up and headed back inside. Abbi liked the rain on the umbrella she liked to help hold the handle too. Cookie Day at Grandma's

Grandpa always has cookie dough ready for when Bryanna comes to see Grandma. She comes in and says "turn on the oven Grandma PLEASSSSSSE! So I can make cookies for PaPa." We really know she wants to make cookies for all of us. Especially for Brye, this is a special treat that only happens at Grandma's house because Mommy says "No Sugar, Brye!" We always make one for Mommy and Daddy anyway.No secrets in this house.

Friends in the Garden

One morning as I was making my rounds, one of my little raccoon friends called me over to the tree. He was out partying late the night before and needed some help getting up the tree. Does anyone need a hat?

Tyler & Grandma

Grandma visits Tyler while at Abbi's first birthday party. Abbi wasn't the only one to get presents, Tyler got new clothes from Grandma too.
